I am interested in hiring a boat and captain to take my group of 6 from Rab (Old City) to Zadar this summer, specifically on July 5, so we can take a scenic route and hopefully stop along the way for some swimming near some gorgeous shoreline, and maybe a konoba stop along the way. We would like to make a full day of it to enjoy the sea and some relaxing time by boat. I was thinking about a pick up in old town Rab around 10 am, and we could arrive at Zadar around sunset, 17:00-19:00, flexibly. We are not too picky about which type of boat, as we do need to stay within a budget overall. Could please tell me if this is possible, and if so, how much it would cost, and how much time we could have to get from Rab to Zadar? Thank you for any information you can offer.

We visited Rab three times in 2024 and rented a boat each time! Always from Nostromo! We rented the Baracuda 545, the Saver 660WA, and the Karnic 602SL! All the boats were always clean and well-maintained, and the fuel costs were also calculated fairly!

The owners and staff were very helpful and friendly! We highly recommend them! We’re looking forward to the 2025 season!

I tried to rent a boat for the first time this year during our holiday from September 19 to September 29, 2024. I stopped driving from the north of the Netherlands to Istria and Rab with my own boat after about 15 years because of the increasing traffic on the highways. What a relief to drive that whole stretch without a boat trailer. I rented a boat from Nostromo-Rab this holiday and I really enjoyed it. Marijan the owner and his employee are very friendly and helpful, the boat is clean and fully fueled and ready for you every day. I can recommend everyone to rent a boat from Nostromo-Rab. Hopefully I can go to Rab again next year and will definitely rent a boat from Nostromo-Rab again!!!

Our friend Vincent booked the Cayman 585 for this year’s trip from June 6th to June 9th, just like he did in June 2022. We got a brand new boat, which we thoroughly enjoyed. On the very first day, we were lucky enough to see three dolphins. We can highly recommend Nostromo Boat Rentals. We have nothing but praise for the two employees who provide the briefing, handle the launching and landing, and are always ready to help, as well as for Marijan and his wife, who always have a smile on their faces and are very friendly. We had the best experience with Nostromo and can wholeheartedly recommend this boat rental company. If you want to feel well taken care of, rent your boat from Marijan and his team! We’ll be back next year.
